A wider audience will soon have the opportunity to purchase Apple’s mixed reality headset. Apple announced today that the $3,499 Vision Pro will be available internationally, starting with a rollout on June 28th.
The first countries outside the United States to receive the Vision Pro are China, Japan, and Singapore, beginning on June 28th. This will be followed by Germany, France, Australia, the UK, and Canada on July 12th. This expansion comes after Bloomberg reported in May that Apple has been training its international employees to sell the premium headset.
A New Era of Entertainment: Enter the Next Dimension:
The Apple Vision Pro can turn any room into a personal theater, allowing you to expand your movies, shows, and games to the perfect size while enjoying Spatial Audio. With Apple Immersive Video, you’ll feel like you’re at the center of the action, experiencing unparalleled immersion. Boasting more pixels than a 4K TV for each eye, the Vision Pro delivers stunning content whether you’re on a long flight or relaxing on your couch at home.
The Apple Vision Pro houses two silicon chips: the same M2 chip found in the Mac and a new R1 chip. The M2 chip powers visionOS, executes computer vision algorithms, and handles graphics, while the R1 chip processes input from the cameras, sensors, and microphones.
With a built-in camera, the Vision Pro can capture 3D photos and videos, activated by tapping the top button on the device. Apple claims users can relive their memories in unprecedented ways by capturing in 3D. Additionally, the Vision Pro enhances existing photos and videos by displaying them on a large scale, making them more immersive. When recording video, an animation on the external display makes it clear that recording is in progress.
Empowering Independence and Enhancing Quality of Life
The Apple Vision Pro’s comprehensive accessibility features empower disabled users by providing them with the tools they need to navigate their daily lives more independently. Whether it’s through enhanced visual aids, improved auditory assistance, or intuitive control options, the device helps bridge the gap between disability and full participation in society.
By enabling greater independence, the Vision Pro enhances the overall quality of life for its users. It opens up new possibilities for education, employment, and social interaction, allowing disabled individuals to engage with the world in ways that were previously difficult or impossible.
A Vision for Inclusivity

The Apple Vision Pro takes this commitment to a new level, leveraging advanced technologies like augmented reality (AR), machine learning, and sophisticated sensor arrays to create a seamless and intuitive user experience. This device is designed to cater to a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, and motor impairments.
